About Us  What is Monkeybong Enterprises? Started in July 1999 by David Jeffery. I saw a need for Woodford to have a Computer Services, Printing, Photocopying business and in February 2003 I add the local publication “Woodford Trader” to the Business. David Jeffery has been in the printing Industry for 21 years in which time, he has won numerous awards for printing excellence and two Queensland Printing Industry Craftsmanship Awards. With more than 19 years experience in computers. I am sure I can help YOU with any problems. Trust me to help you in your Business. What does Monkeybong mean? Let’s start with what monkeybong means? This is an Aboriginal name and stands for “Dead Sheep” where did I get it from? Well I am glad you asked when the Archer brothers first settled Woodford they brought sheep and cattle with them the sheep would get foot rot and die so the Aboriginal helpers wound come back to the homestead and inform them that they found “5 monkeybong” meaning 5 dead sheep our property backs on to Monkeybong Creek. We thought it would make a great name you can’t forget very easily. Hence Monkeybong Enterprises was born. |
